The quotes are to be completed and be placed in a sealed envelope and externally endorsed WITH THE DESCRIPTION: Kurland Fire Station: (Paving) or ( Fencing) or (Roller Doors) AND CLOSING DATE OF THE QUOTATION, must be deposited in the Bid Box, at the office of the Supply Chain Management Unit, 17 Marine Drive, Plettenberg Bay, not later than 12:00 on Thursday 10 September 2009. - The Bitou Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy will apply.

C. INTRODUCTION
Bitou Municipality is calling for tenders for the supply and delivery and install 4 x industrial steel roller shutters garage doors. Opening of door ways: 3300mm high , 4000mm wide.
1. Shaft: (Mild steel barrel, spring loaded for counter balance and easy operation. Chain operation that is lockable from within side building as well as option for automation
2. Guides rails: (Mild steel channel 75mm x 25mm x 3 x required length, one on each side. (Hot dipped galvanised, to prevent rusting in coastal areas).
3. Slats: (Cold rolled galvanised coil strips formed into the required shape, 80mm x the required length).
4. “T” Section: (40mm x 40mm x 3mm x required length to add stability to the curtain of a roller shutter door. Aluminium T Bar with all weather seal from wind, dust and rain .
Canopy: Cold roller galvanised sheet bent in the shape to cover the shaft and providing the roller shuttler with an appealing finish.
